Why Lineage Matters
Lineage is not presented as a claim of authority or superiority. Rather, it provides transparency about where our teachings have been received and helps preserve continuity between generations of teachers and students.

Founder of Gendai Reiki Hō; a respected teacher and researcher of traditional Japanese Reiki.

Independent Educational Organization
The Usui Reiki International Gakkai is an independent nonprofit educational organization dedicated to the careful study, practice, and transmission of Usui Reiki Ryōhō. Our teaching lineage reflects the succession of teachers through whom our understanding and practice have been received.
We honor the historical contribution of the Usui Reiki Ryōhō Gakkai in Japan; however, we are not affiliated with, authorized by, or formally connected to that organization. Our curriculum, governance, and educational activities are developed and administered independently.
